After the events and excitement of yesterday, Sam was sleeping hard. She curled into Jack's side, her head on his shoulder, leg draped over both of his, and arm resting across his stomach, as if even in sleep she was worried about him leaving without her.

Sam had the door open and was alternating in her studying for Revolutions and Sociology of Space Travel. At the moment, she was trying to think less scientifically in her approach to sociology--something about Professor Roslin made her want to do well on the final.

Feeling all buffed and polished after a few hours at the spa, Sam returned to her room with some chinese take-out. On the floor by the door was an envelope, which she grabbed on her way in. She opened it, not having expected any mail.

Since there had been no class, Sam had taken a walk into town where she'd had quite a shock although it's still being played out.
